Abdulhakim & Nour

Abdulhakim and Nour are a husband-and-wife writing team who each embraced Islam after personal journeys in search of truth — his through years of exploring ideologies and worldviews, hers through a reflective path shaped by her engineering background. Though different, both journeys were driven by a shared longing for meaning, justice, and clarity. With Abdulhakim’s media experience and Nour’s analytical mindset, they write out of a shared concern for the Ummah. They believe Muslims must reclaim their own narrative — rooted in the message of the Prophet ﷺ — as a guide for both personal and collective direction. They believe the Ummah must do better. Because capitalism won’t redeem the world. Nationalism won’t unite it. Secularism won’t heal it. Only Allah’s plan will.
