It was narrated from ‘Abd-Allāh ibn ‘Umar (may Allāh be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allāh (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said: “The month is twenty-nine days, so do not fast until you see it, and if it is cloudy then complete the month as thirty days.”

Based on this narration, since, the moon of 1st of Dhul Hijjah 1438 has not been sighted tonight, we will end the month of Dhul Qa’da 1438 tomorrow night at Maghrib and celebrate ‘Eid al-Adhā on Friday, 10th of Dhul Hijjah 1438 – corresponding to 1st of September 2017 In sha Allāh.
