Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum saalihal a’maalakum

Islam21c can confirm that ‘Eid al-Fitr 1438 will be on Sunday – corresponding to 25th June 2017 – based on multiple eye-witness testimonies. As the majority of Muslims in the UK follow Saudi Arabia in starting and ending Ramadan tomorrow will be the day of Eid. The declaration from the Saudi Supreme Court is expected shortly.

It was narrated from ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “The month is twenty-nine days, so do not fast until you see it, and if it is cloudy then complete the month as thirty days.”
