Save lives this Ramadan

Alhamdulillah we have begun a new relationship with our charity partner, One Ummah, in time for Ramadan.

We encourage all our supporters this Ramadan to make One Ummah the charity they use for discharging the great and beautiful obligation of Zakāh, towards the neediest.

This year we want to feed 10,000 people in need across the globe. We aim to do this via One Ummah by delivering 2,000 food packs to the neediest members of our own Ummahtic family.

Brothers and sisters and islam21c you promote flawed fatwa which are clearly wrong such as 18 degree prayer timetable student finance opinions clearly wrong yet we still respect your why because a few wrong opinions doesn’t take away the great website this is
But now saudi is a joke now who follow the umm al qara calendar today is not Ramadan it is impossible to see the moon even with a miracle and bow we must turn away from that fake sighting they do and do our own local moon sighting we don’t need mbs corrupt kufr ideology he is spreading we can reject those jokes and do our own moon sighting which wifaqul ulama are doing 12 month all year round

Do you have your own people on the ground who have witnessed the moon? Or is it a confirmation from KSA authorities?

RE start of Ramadan. The committee had no option but to start Ramadan on Tuesday as they had already had 30 days of Rajab. Their announcement on Sunday was that as the new moon was not visible on Sunday therefore Tuesday will be the start. As the birth of the new moon was only early on Monday morning ie today and only viewable for 21 minutes after Maghreb it is highly unlikely that the moon would be seen, therefor they should have accepted their mistake that they started Rajab on the wrong day. In Karachi, Pakistan we looked for the new moon at Maghreb and it was not visible.
If you are trying to be a guide for Muslims in the UK then please dont just be a mouthpiece for other countries media machines. You have scholars and you have tens of thousands of readers who can be our Eyes to look for the new moon every month.
Has anyone not questioned why there is a need for a governmental Hilal committee when in every community you can have groups on Muslims who can witness thus and report.
