French media outlets are reporting that eight people have been injured after two gunmen reportedly opened fire into a crows leaving a mosque after prayers in southeast France.[1]
Muslims were leaving the ArRahma Mosque in Avignon after Isha prayers at approximately 10:30, when two men pulled up in a car and started shooting randomly into the crowd before fleeing the scene. One is said to have been armed with a rifle and another with a handgun.

It is also reported that a family of four in a nearby apartment suffered shrapnel wounds.
This incident comes days after a man was arrested on Thursday after trying to drive a car into a crowd in front of another mosque, in the Paris suburb of Creteil.[2] Thankfully no one was injured—al-Hamdu lillāh.
Police are still searching for the suspects.
