Assalamu alaykum. Maybe you have thought of this already or done it. I think it would be a good idea to write to influential people in the Muslim world e.g. politicians, kings and rulers explaining the situation of the Uyghurs. People always talk about writing to their MP but we should also seek to educate our leaders and request their help. I know many would say this is a waste of time and everyone knows what’s happening through the news – but maybe the true reality is not apparent to them. I think we must at least try. You could write in Arabic to Arabic rulers.
