The Qur’ān has been divided into 30 parts (juz, pl. ajzā) for ease of memorising and reciting. Below is our QuranCast podcast with Ustadh Abu Haneefah Sohail, our Juz by Juz video series with Ustadh Asif Uddin, an excerpt from our famous Juz by Juz publication and app.

These have been compiled to help us develop kushū’ (attentiveness) and enrich our prayers when listening to the Qur’ān, especially in Ramadān when many mosques try to complete its recitation during this blessed month.

We hope it becomes an encouragement for us to read at least one Juz each day of our lives and to become attached to the Qur’ān, such that we become known as the People of Qur’ān.

Editor’s Pick

Of the hundreds of articles we publish in a year here we will share ones that caught our eye in particular, and ones that you can maximise benefit from in this blessed month.

How can we expect the Raḥma of Allāh to fall upon us as we sit in the club or inhale at the Shisha lounge? How can we expect the Raḥma of Allāh to fall upon us as we lend our eyes and ears to the filthiest of TV and internet scenes or the vilest of music? How can we expect His Raḥma to touch us whilst, despite our age, we still have not prepared a strategy for our Hereafter? How can we expect the Raḥma of Allāh to fall upon us if we abuse ourselves with sin?

Every one of us must have a cave which we retreat to, escaping both the environments and people of Ḥarām.

What does Allah’s mercy offer me?
