The Qur’ān has been divided into 30 parts (juz, pl. ajzā) for ease of memorising and reciting. Below is our QuranCast podcast with Ustadh Abu Haneefah Sohail, our Juz by Juz video series with Ustadh Asif Uddin, an excerpt from our famous Juz by Juz publication and app.
These have been compiled to help us develop kushū’ (attentiveness) and enrich our prayers when listening to the Qur’ān, especially in Ramadān when many mosques try to complete its recitation during this blessed month.
We hope it becomes an encouragement for us to read at least one Juz each day of our lives and to become attached to the Qur’ān, such that we become known as the People of Qur’ān.

Of the hundreds of articles we publish in a year here we will share ones that caught our eye in particular, and ones that you can maximise benefit from in this blessed month.
Muslims must act with propriety amongst themselves as well, this is the only way that brotherhood in faith and love can be engendered. Reports should be verified, the Messenger (sall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam) should be referred to and his judgement should be followed, even where it does not accord to one’s own desires. False reports bring about animosity and can up-heave society itself.
