JUZ BY JUZ | WATCH | LISTEN | READ

The Qur’ān has been divided into 30 parts (Juz, pl. Ajzā) for ease of memorising and reciting. Below is our QuranCast podcast with Ustādh Abu Haneefah Sohail, our Juz by Juz video series with Ustādh Asif Uddin, and an excerpt from our famous Juz by Juz publication.

These have been compiled to help us develop Khushūʿ (attentiveness) and enrich our prayers when listening to the Qur’ān, especially in Ramaḍān when many mosques try to complete its recitation during this blessed month.

We hope it becomes an encouragement for us to read at least one Juz each day of our lives and to become attached to the Qur’ān, such that we become known as the People of Qur’ān.

“Oh Allāh, I seek refuge in You from the difficulties of calamities, and from an evil end, and from bad fate, and from the gloating of enemies.” [1]

Memorise Me

The Prophet (ṣall Allāhu ʿalayhi wa sallam) said: “Sūrah al-Mulk is the protector from the torment of the grave.” [2]

Let us all try and memorise this amazing Sūrah this Ramaḍān. It consists of 30 Āyat, so that’s one every day!
