HOME TARĀWĪH BUDDY

HOME TARĀWĪH BUDDY

Since we are in lockdown here is how you can ensure that you get the most out of tarāwīh prayers at home!

The Qur’ān has been divided into 30 parts (Juz, pl. Ajzā) for ease of reciting one juz per night.

Below you’ll find how to read each Juz, as well as several resources that summarise the meanings and some lessons from each one! You will find:

  • Excerpt from our famous Juz by Juz publication.
  • QuranCast podcast with Ustādh Abu Haneefah Sohail
  • Juz by Juz video series with Ustādh Asif Uddin

These have been compiled to help us develop Khushūʿ (attentiveness) and enrich our prayers when listening to the Qur’ān, especially in Ramaḍān when we complete its recitation as many times as we can.

We hope it becomes an encouragement for us to read at least one Juz each day of our lives and to become attached to the Qur’ān, such that we become known as the People of Qur’ān.
