The Qur’ān has been divided into 30 parts (juz, pl. ajzā) for ease of memorising and reciting. Below is our QuranCast podcast with Ustadh Abu Haneefah Sohail, our Juz by Juz video series with Ustadh Asif Uddin, an excerpt from our famous Juz by Juz publication and app.

These have been compiled to help us develop kushū’ (attentiveness) and enrich our prayers when listening to the Qur’ān, especially in Ramadān when many mosques try to complete its recitation during this blessed month.

We hope it becomes an encouragement for us to read at least one Juz each day of our lives and to become attached to the Qur’ān, such that we become known as the People of Qur’ān.

Editor’s Pick

Of the hundreds of articles we publish in a year here we will share ones that caught our eye in particular, and ones that you can maximise benefit from in this blessed month.

The people of Musa (may peace be upon him) were subjugated, violated and enslaved. The tyrannical ruler at the time had their sons killed and left their daughters to live. A distraught mother threw her son into the river Nile so not to witness his cruel murder. His people blamed him and despaired that they would be overtaken, yet with firm conviction in his Lord, his faith did not waver. He said “No way! With me is my Lord, and He will surely guide me.”
