Thinking to Return to Normal After Ramadan? Shaykh Ali Answers

The end of Ramadan is in sight and Eid preparations are quietly starting. Some of us may secretly be looking forward to the return of comfort and convenience, being able to eat and drink 24/7 and being more lax in our behaviour. It may be that boundaries we would steer far away from in this month fall away, or actions which we would keep ourselves firm on like the voluntary prayers are gradually eased until they disappear completely.

In Episode 28, Shaykh Ali Hammuda urges against this kind of anticipation and suggests how we can use this month to positively springboard us into life beyond Ramadan in the right way.

Shaykh Ali Ihsan Hammuda is Islam21c's Tarbiya Editor.
