I just read your article and I find it very informative, very inspiring.

This article beautifully emphasizes the importance of understanding the Qur’ān through authentic Tafsīr and the teachings of the Prophet ﷺ.

The Uthmaniyya were able, willing and did give succour and refuge to the Jews (as stated in the article), however:

– Why wasn’t military support forthcoming by the Uthmaniyya?

– Why wasn’t the succour and refuge accorded to the Jews of Al Andalus, afforded to the Muslims therein?

Was this because the Uthmaniyyah saw the Umawiyoon who (had) ruled Al Andalus as renegades, who were a ‘rival’ Khilafah that had refused to give bay’a to them (Uthmaniyyah)?

Among all those names I only knew the Syrian Caesar and Al -Kindi… Please, might you post more often articles concerning Islamic history (and also Islamic philosophy) ? Thanks a lot.

I challenge any Muslim out there to invite a single / alone Muslim to spend any part of Ramadan or Eid with them. Not once have I ever been asked to share a meal with anyone during these special times.
