Shaykh Muhammad Carr has dedicated his life to studying and transmitting our beautiful deen. His studies have taken him around the globe, where he has benefitted from many luminaries. He completed his memorisation of the Qur’an at Dar al-Ulum Zakariyyah in September 1997 and received an Alimiyya Degree in 2006 from DUAI (Darul Ulum al-Arabiyyah al-Islamiyyah). He is also affiliated with Masjid Auwal in Bo Kaap, Cape Town (the oldest mosque in South Africa), where he serves as a co-imam, and Dar Al-Safa, where he has taught since 2018. He continues to pursue traditional Islamic Sciences, possessing a keen interest in Islamic Contract Law and Finance.

Shaykh Zakariyya Harnekar is an Islamic scholar based in Cape Town, South Africa, and is actively involved in education and knowledge dissemination. Harnekar is affiliated with the Mizan Institute, an institution dedicated to teaching Arabic and Qur'an.

Dr. Butt studied Biochemistry at Imperial College London, followed by a PhD in Chemical Biology, carrying out research into photosynthesis. During his years at university, he became involved in Islamic society da'wah and activism, and general Muslim community projects.     Just want to know if any of the two Alims interviewed are Historians of Islam at the Cape of Sorrows and what research books have they researched.
    Some of their utterances are incorrect.
    Let them apologize.
