Palestinians have described the latest attack as a “massacre”, after Zionist fighters launched an offensive in a refugee camp in the flashpoint city of Jenin yesterday. Multiple outlets have reported that Israeli mercenaries unleashed an attack that took the lives of nine Palestinians in the camp, along with a tenth Palestinian killed in the nearby town of al-Ram. [1]
According to local reports, at least 20 Palestinians sustained gunshot wounds and four remain in critical condition. Tragically, among the dead was a 61-year-old woman. Hospital sources have identified the deceased as Magda Obaid. [1]
May Allah grant strength and patience to those who have lost loved ones and a swift recovery to those who have been injured.
Spotlight squarely on new Zionist regime
The senseless killings renew attention on the recently established ultra-hardline Israeli regime spearheaded by Benjamin Netanyahu and desperately propped up by the likes of coalition partners from the Religious Zionist Party, the anti-Arab Otzma Yehudit party, and others. [2]
At the helm of the Religious Zionist Party is Itamar Ben-Gvir – a convicted terrorist and illegal settler in the West Bank, in addition to being a self-proclaimed admirer of the terrorist Baruch Goldstein. Ben-Gvir had a portrait of Goldstein proudly placed in his living room at one point. [3]
During Ramaḍān of 1994, the mass murderer Goldstein was responsible for the deaths of 29 Palestinians, in addition to 125 injured. The massacre remains one of the deadliest on record. [4]
Zionist thugs fired at ambulance
Armed occupation fighters are infamous for their brutality and sheer disregard for Palestinians.
It is therefore appalling yet unsurprising to learn that the same armed gang fired directly at an ambulance that was trying to reach the body of a martyred Palestinian. [1]
The Jenin hospital chief, Wissam Baker, told Al Jazeera,
“The ambulance driver tried to get to one of the martyrs who was on the floor, but the Israeli forces shot directly at the ambulance and prevented them from approaching him…
“There is an invasion that is unprecedented … in terms of how large it is and the number of injuries.” [1]
Saleh al-Arouri, a senior military commander in the Hamas defence organisation, has warned the Zionist regime that the “response of the resistance will not be delayed”. [1]
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Authority (PA) – which governs a section of the occupied West Bank – has dramatically suspended its security partnership with ‘Israel’ on account of the devastating Thursday raid. [1]
PA spokesman Nabil Abu Rudeineh added,
“We salute those standing steadfast defending our homeland.” [1]
